Chesspy — Privacy Policy

Chesspy (체스파이) is a daily chess-deduction puzzle. It has no accounts, collects no personal information such as your name, email or contacts, and shows no ads. This page explains what the app stores on your device and which anonymous information reaches third-party services.

1. Stored only on your device

The following never leaves your device and is deleted with the app:

• Mission records: result per day, time, hearts lost, grade
• The state of a mission in progress
• Settings: sound, haptics, reminder, colour-blind palette, agent design, language, tutorial completion
• Your Pro purchase status (local cache)

2. Third-party services

RevenueCat	Verifying purchase status	A random anonymous ID generated by the app, receipt data, app version and device type. Not linked to your name or email.
TelemetryDeck	Anonymous usage statistics (for example how many missions were started)	An identifier hashed on the device and event names. IP addresses are not stored; individuals cannot be identified.
Ranking server (Supabase)	Computing “Top N% today”	When you finish Today’s Mission: the date, a random install ID made by the app, boards cleared and hearts lost. No name, device information or IP address is stored, and nothing is used for ads or tracking.

These services process data under their own policies: RevenueCat, TelemetryDeck, Supabase.

3. Permissions

• Notifications: only if you turn the reminder on — a local notification at 9 am. No server is involved.
• Add to Photos: add-only access used when you tap “Save image” to save a result card. The app never reads your photo library.

4. Sharing

Tapping “Share” hands the result text and image to the system share sheet; you choose where it goes. The app keeps no copy.

5. Tracking and ads

No ads, no advertising identifier, no tracking across apps or websites.

6. Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from users of any age.

7. Changes and contact

When this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Significant changes are also noted in the app’s release notes.

기기 안에만 저장되는 정보

다음 정보는 기기에만 저장되고 외부로 전송되지 않으며, 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다.

• 진행 중인 미션의 상태
• 설정: 소리, 진동, 알림, 색맹 팔레트, 요원 디자인, 언어, 튜토리얼 완료 여부
• Pro 구매 여부(로컬 캐시)

외부 서비스가 받는 정보

RevenueCat	구매 상태 확인	앱이 만든 무작위 익명 ID, 구매 영수증 정보, 앱 버전, 기기 종류. 이름·이메일과 연결되지 않습니다.
TelemetryDeck	익명 사용 통계(예: 미션을 시작한 횟수)	기기에서 해시 처리된 익명 식별자와 이벤트 이름. IP 주소는 저장되지 않으며 개인을 특정할 수 없습니다.
순위 서버 (Supabase)	“오늘 상위 N%” 계산	오늘의 미션을 마치면 날짜, 앱이 만든 무작위 설치 ID, 성공한 판 수, 잃은 하트 수. 이름·기기 정보·IP 주소는 저장하지 않으며 광고나 추적에 쓰지 않습니다.

권한

• 알림: 알림을 켠 경우에만, 오전 9시에 기기에서 보내는 로컬 알림. 서버를 거치지 않습니다.
• 사진에 추가: 결과 카드를 “이미지 저장”할 때만 쓰는 추가 전용 권한. 사진 보관함을 읽지 않습니다.

공유 · 추적 · 아동

• “공유”를 누르면 결과 글과 이미지를 시스템 공유 시트에 넘기고, 보낼 곳은 직접 고릅니다. 앱은 사본을 남기지 않습니다.
• 광고, 광고 식별자, 앱·웹사이트 간 추적이 없습니다.
• 모든 연령이 사용할 수 있으며, 어떤 연령의 사용자에게서도 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다.
